Dr. Mary Zennett is a practicing psychiatrist for 25 years and she has been passionate about health transformation for quite some time.
Dr. Mary obtained her M.D. from Loyola University in 1982 and Executive M.B.A. from Benedictine University in 1998.
She is Board Certified in Adult, Adolescent and Child Psychiatry and has practiced full time and cared for many patients from all walks of life.
Dr. Mary’s practice philosophy integrates health, wellness and care of the whole person in mainstream medicine. She believes in prescribing the lowest doses of medications that a person may need at a given time; she is committed to a holistic model of care focused on healing, empowerment and restoration.
Dr. Mary also believes the U.S. health care system needs to incorporate these principles on a large scale now.
Her health advocacy website: www.citizensforhealthreform.com supports her belief of the importance of everyone’s action in taking responsibility for their own well being. As she says often, “I believe collectively we can-and must- transform healthcare NOW!”
